Please try again later. i redownload.  · I figured out the solution to my problem! the new none java version of the minecraft download is only compatible with windows 78 i believe, therefore if you are running windows vista or xp it will give the "unable to download minecraft please try again later" message.

So I downloaded Destiny 2 from Steam, and have been playing a good it with no issues except when playing to a large tv from my laptop. Was able to make that work but once I started just playing on my laptop I was "Unable to retrieve game settings. Try again later"d. Minecraft Launcher; MCL; Get "We couldn't update Windows. Please try to update it again later. (0x).
